Steve,

Are you taking Hwy 29 through Calistoga? I'll have to go to Hwy 12 and then take that to Hwy 29; will you be going through there or joining it further on? I guess I'm asking for a specific place to meet up. I've got your cell number and will call you tomorrow morning.

Adam,

Yes, come up 29 to Calistoga and then make a left(I Think!) onto Foothill Blvd/CA 128. You will come to a road called Petrified Forrest Road. There is a gas station there off to your left. We can meet up there. There is a towing company directly across from the gas station as well. See you there.

Adam,

There actually is no left in Calistoga. CA29 turns into Foothill Blvd and CA128. You would turn right to stay on CA29. Keep coming up CA128 until you see the gas station on your left. I put an X on the attached map. We will be there.

What time did the rest of the group head out? I took a wrong turn and ended up in Vacaville... But the car ran fine and the clutch feels great! Now to trim the master cylinder reservoir so the hood closes right. :D

Sorry to hear you added some miles to your trip, but I bet it was a wonderful drive with the clutch working!

I cannot remember when we left, but I was home by 6.

Good luck with the reservoir shortening! That is a good tip, most people notch the hood, but shortening the reservoir is much easier and cleaner! TR

We left around 5:15 or so. I was home by 6:30. It was a beautiful day for a road trip. Mike is a great guy and very roadster knowledgeable. We will have to do it again sometime.
