Is taking the 101 thru the 154 to Solvang still OK? That's the route I"ll be taking.

Howard, we are thinking about doing that same route or just staying on the 101 all the way until the 246....unless someone has done that route before and advises against it (first time driving up in the roadster).

I've done the 154 route 12 times to Solvang. The less freeway driving, the better for me. The 154 is a nice winding road.

I'm done messing with google to get this sorted.

SO, here is what I am doing.

Like last year, meet at bowlero bowl 23130 - leaving at 10A sharp.

West on 101 to 23 North.

Exit W Los Angeles Avenue (118 - Moorpark)

North on Balcolm Canyon Road to South Mountain Road (watch out for sharp RIGHT at Bradley Road)

Left on E Harvard (after under 126) (Santa Paula)

Right on 10th Street (SR150) Last year we had lunch at Chapala Mexicana (on corner)

North on 150 through Ojai, then continue on 150 at junction of SR33 South.

Due to road closure on SR192, normally would turn right, just continue on 150 to 101

Stay on 101 to SR154 (San Marcos Pass)

Either SR154 to SR246 (take Solvang exit from traffic circle)

or

from SR154 exit left onto Stagecoach Road and stay on Stagecoach until it returns to 154 (this is more for fun road)

Would love to have company.

Best, Pete

Sherry and I will be flying into lax on Wednesday but are going straight to Solvang. Looking forward to meeting all the year round roadster drivers. We are staying at Svendsgaards.

Thanks Peter for taking the lead on this.
I am towing my roadster up this year so I would not be able to join you on the entire route.
Safe travels for everyone!

We're coming in Thursday via LAX to our first Solvang and will be staying somewhere between Malibu and Ventura Thursday and heading to Solvang Friday morning
We will be in a rental but wouldn't mind hooking up with the "caravan" somewhere along the route
Very Nice. Please private message me with your number and I'll get one of the drivers, as well as myself, to give you constant updates as we're driving up.
Ray
