Palomar to Stone Brewery Fun Run - Oct 21

Last year we did a fun run from OC to Mt. Palomar then all trooped down to Stone Brewery for lunch. Link We had 9 cars show up, including the elusive San Diego DROC.
Any interest in doing this run again?
Starting in south OC through Ortega Highway, out to Mount Palomar Observatory, then down to Stone Brewery in Escondido for lunch. I was thinking that we meet at the Starbucks at the corner of Antonio and Ortega Highway. I'd like to roll out at 7:30a. I figure this will put us in Temecula around 8:30a. We can meet in Temecula at the 7-11 at Bedford Ct and the 79. This should put us in at Palomar near 10a or so. We can spend some time there then head down to Escondido (about an hour) for some beer and lunch at the Stone brewery. They give tours too at the top of each hour if you're interested in that too (I would be).

Suggestions on dates? I prefer Sundays (I have kids activities on Saturdays).

I prefer we don't do the 7th as there is a car show in Laguna that weekend. So I am in for the 13th or 14th ;)

Ok people October 5th,6th is out, will be in Williams Az. for a car show. October 13th & 14th are fine for me

How about Sunday Oct 21st? I think the SoCalTT is on the 13/14th (I'm not doing it though).

Gents, I’ve got myself and one other from SDDROC in so far. Trying to see if we can’t get a couple more. See you at the top of Palomar. PS that Sunday is also Datsuns & Coffee at 8am in Black Mountain Ranch - we’ll be swinging by there on the way

It looks like good weather for next weekend.
Spags are you planning to meet us at the Antonio/Ortega Starbucks? If you get off the 5 at 74/Ortega, be careful of police, they seem ever-present in that stretch.
NissanToy are you planning to meet us at the 7-11 on Temecula Pkwy?
RoadsterMike and I did an Ortega test run today and it was awesome!
