A great picture of three long distance Roadster friends. I had hoped to see all three of them at the Shedd BBQ this year and we know that is not happening so we'll plan for next year. As mentioned by Ted, this year the Fun Run before the BBQ is split into two groups, the "Geriatric Group", which I plan to lead in my 70 srl, will head out first and expect to be over taken somewhere along the route by the second group or just meet mid point in Stayton for the break. Dave Neal, who is also local to the area, will lead the second group with his stroked 68 spl and is more than capable of leading any group of faster cars, well there are some exceptions like Eric Straw's car...LOL
August 15th....Be there!

The SHEDD Roadster BBQ,
The ONLY roadster meet to offer covered parking for all roadsters attending!.
In the slightest chance of serious rain (has not happened yet), Bill has had a GIANT roadster garage built.
We can park all the roadsters inside, do laps and change oil in the pit!
You better be there. Should be over 40+ roadsters.
Do NOT miss the 2nd best roadster meet in the USA!!

Trying to figure out a way to go.. Anyone ever notice that there is nothing to do for 3 or 4 weeks, then 4 events on one weekend?

Like some fishing with your roadster meet?
The SHEDD Roadster BBQ has that!
Private pond full of big bass. No license required.
Fishing poles provided but The Dutch Roadster Tourist likes to use his bare hands.

Only 1 week till SHEDD.
Be There or be Square as my generation would say.

Regret to say I won't be able to make this one. Transmission input shaft bearing sounds like it is going and other commitments (work, family) mean it's not going to be fixed right away.
See you next year.

Hey Leigh, we should be in Stayton around noon but give or take 10 minutes for any issues and miscalculations. We will be near the South end of the main street and on the West side. The coffee shop is in a store front row. If you come from the North, make sure you go past Wilco and Safeway and the next light is where we will be. See ya there...Bill

Had a great time today at the Shedd BBQ-- beautiful weather, lots of great cars, and a little excitement too!

Thanks to Bill and Karen for once again providing great hospitality and Bill Cole for the drive -- good times!
