Blind spot mirror

My passenger side mirror is useless, there only for looks in order to balance the car. I've been looking around for stick on and adjustable blind spot mirrors that I could mount to the windshield and found these: https://www.amazon.com/Adjustabe-Mirror ... EC5YXFGD9V
I'll let you know how they turn out. I plan to stick one in the upper corner of the windshield on the passenger side, and if I like it on the drivers too.

this is a dumb question but here goes...how is there a blind spot on a Datsun Roadster with the top down?
headrest?
roll bar?

Ya, a combo of the rollbar and the passenger/headrest when looking out the rear view mirror. I only need it when having to make very quick decisions while still monitoring what's going on up front, often at a high rate of speed or when in traffic and wanting to jump out of a slow lane. As I've gotten older I've noticed that my eyes don't focus or orient as fast as they used to, and it is a bit harder to turn my neck and head check as well. I find myself hesitating to make decisions because I can't trust my eyes at a glance to fully identify what's there, so it's repeated head checks with things potentially happening quickly up front or deciding to just stay put. While I frequently drive fast, I feel that I do this safely, and part of that safety is having the information necessary to make quick decisions, and I don't have that. I can't easily monitor traffic on my right because my side mirror is unusable and my rear view is limited in that spot. I'm hoping I will be better able to monitor and if needed see at a glance if it's clear or not. I'll see if I can post some pics if that's helpful, assuming they will work!

I use one on both sides, you can get 3.5" and 3 3/4" glue on spot mirrors on amazon.

Everybody sticks those things way at the outer edge of the glass. They are just as much help stuck on in close, while that outer edge or corner of your flat merrier is the part you need the most!

I'm thinking I will put at least one in the upper corner of the passenger side of the windshield, that was why I got the shape I did so it would kinda blend in... we'll see!

I just cover the entire mirror on BOTH sides. If I can see anything in the mirror, need to confirm before I go.

I had the same initial thoughts as Alvin. m car has fender mirrors, both convex not as extreme as a blind spot mirror. Works well. The full width Wink 5 panel mirrors are good if you're under 6 foot and have a 68-70 but they are odd at first, everything keeps catching your peripheral vision as you drive..
