Midwest Mechanical Shop

Post by PHAETON1 »

I am looking for a Midwest based mechanical shop to rebuild the engine and go through the mechanicals on my 65 1600. Looking for a solid shop that has experience in the Datsun cars. I am located in Iowa but can ship the car . Thanks

Any competent machine shop would do ...with experienced workman ... and all the equipment needed
Most ...years ago were backlogged with diesel fleets $$$$$ work
And don't care about a single guys 1 $$$ project
Long block wise rebuild I'm talking

I had a local NAPA machine shop rebuild my '66 r16. Both of their machinists have over 25 yrs experience, they did a wonderful job. These are pretty basic engines with specs readily available. FWIW Pat
