Top installation

Hi everyone. I finally figured out how to post a new topic. I installed a new top on my 68 311 last week . It came out good. I am
Missing the bar at the rear of top and needless to say I want to purchase a boot for it and will need bar for it too anyone know where I can get one ? Also best place to purchase a new boot

I am sure that Mike Young, Ross, Craig Halsted and more can set you up. Some have said that they are just flat steel, but that is not accurate. They actually were curved, with a bow in them and two chamfers to fit the teardops.

I have a tonneau cover for high windshield cars, it has the back bar but the cavass has poorly done patches (iron on) from PO. Take the cover with bar for $50 plus shipping or just the bar fot $50 plus shipping. I can send pics if interested. PM me if interested.

Yes, they are a spring. which puts down pressure on the body to make a tight seal.
