Ammeter

Hi all, could someone tell me on the ammeter, is the black wire go on the positive side. Can't really see on the schematic Thanks for the help

The amp meter is in line with the fuse box.
Its hot on both sides. The fuse box attaches to the right side and the battery/alternator of the left. If its hooked up backwards it will read backwards, no harm. On most years, the white wire goes to the battery and the black wire goes to the fuse box.

Keep in mind that the ammeter is in effect another fuse and if everything suddenly goes dead the ammeter is a likely suspect.
