Can anyone confirm the thread size for the tiny Phillips head screws used to hold the chrome bezel onto the gauge as well as the gauge body to the back gauge panel? I'm assuming metric, but with these cars you never know.
This is a '69 2000 I'm working on.
I measure with calipers 2.5mm or 0.990" diameter of threaded shaft portion of the screw.
Thx

You are correct, they are metric and measure 2.5 mm with a thread of 0.45
Length is 3 mm long.
I've got so many gauges that we never had to buy any or I would offer some up but if you only need one or two then let me know.

Re: Gauge Assemblies: Tiny Exterior Screws Size
This is great, thanks! I chewed up the first few I tried to remove, but developed a better system that doesn’t use a Phillips screwdriver, because that just seems to strip the head too easy.
I like to know the specifics of the hw I’m working with (always) just in case I drop or ruin it accidentally!
