Rad hose numbers in TecWiki

Post by VonMussa »

Looking at the TechWiki and the coolant hoses listed there. The Gates 25480 radiator hose is coming up as flexible coolant hose. Is this the correct part? I cant tell when those parts numbers were entered into the TechWiki section and if the numbers have changed.

Ugg! Flex hoses are ugg-lee. Dean sells the proper molded hose for only $18. Unfortunately shipping will kill you unless you are ordering several parts.

If you want correct braided hoses (or the budget molded hoses) we have them all. Low cost shipping as well.

The braided hoses are outstanding-no others are higher quality or more correct. Even the older Nissan braided hoses lasted many years, even decades.

Are there not braided hoses available for 1600's? Or were they only original equipment on 2000's?

The lower hose is interchangeable, but we do not make a upper braided hose for the 16.

We do have low cost USA production hoses (both upper and lower) in stock for both the 1600 and 2L.

Braided was OEM for the 1600, I managed to pick up a NOS braided top hose from Japan, though I did pay a lot for it.
