heater core
Hi Just removed my heater core from my 67 1/2 1600. Can someone tell me what the electrical componet is in the heater box all so is there any way of testing it if not where can i pick one up.

That's a resistor to provide low speed for the fan. When on "hi" the resistor is not in the circuit, on "low" the resistor
reduces voltage to the motor.
