If you can find a downdraft intake like the one in the above pic, Fitech also makes a 2 barrel EFI kit for them. Just recently saw on Bringatrailer a Older Volvo with this kit. It ran great according to the video.

brn2rde That's a very nice conversion, great job! I got so fed up with messing with the SU's that I just ordered a Weber conversion kit, part # K658. Includes both carbs, new linkage, and intake manifold. Also added heat shields and velocity stack screens. Hopefully all of this will arrive before next weekend.
A lot of people swear by the SU's, but I can't seem to get them right even using the tech wiki resource. And spending a lot of money. I'm a shade-tree mechanic, and far from a professional. So I have more experience with this style carb, and if I need to get help from a mechanic, there are plenty of people around that will work on a Weber. They also have a tech support resource.
