SPL 310 frame/Body schematic errors.

I am making a 3d model of the spl311/310 frame and body and i ran into an issue where the schematics on the SPL310SMRedCvrSML (red factory manual) on the first few pages.

I lined up the picture of the frame side profile and the picture of the frame and body side profile, i resized them so they matched the dimension sizes
and there is a difference between one and the other. anyone know which would be right?
Check the photos to know what im talking about.

If you guys don't know, do you have any photos of the last picture in real life so i can scale it and extrapolate the correct curve?

Here is a clearer picture. the white highlighted part is the side view from the frame diagram.
the background is obviously the side view of the body with frame under it.

I tried this a few years ago, did get very far as I didnâ€™t have the hi res schematic. But Iâ€™m impressed with your progress. Watching intently.

I sawed a roadster frame out of wood once in 1/12 scale iirc.

The only difference that I have noted on the SPL310 to SPL311 frame is the wider front cross tube (in front of the radiator) on the 1500s. The rest of the frame is the same until 1968 when they added the stiffening "saddles" where it transitions from the front suspension to the main box section, and the holes added for the "crush zones" in the front of the frame.

You can see the wider front cross tube in this pic:

The image below shows the stiffening "saddle" when we added them to my wife's 1500 project-- in the back ground you can see the original profile (note the frame is upside down in this image):

And when we were done (and the frame powder coated):
