Hi everyone,
Been working on sorting out the headlight issue on my 1969 1600 (someone took it upon themselves to cut every wire related to front lights) and I found a red wire that has constant 12v battery voltage that was cut right around where the right front headlight harness pokes through the fender.
I traced it back the the firewall to this plug here under the dash on the driver side. It then goes to the main harness. Any idea what it might be?
What wire is this? 12v red, constant 12v

Sorry for the dumb post, I checked continuity between all the powers in the fuse box and *surprise* it turned out to be the right headlight. And I then found a similar wire near the left headlight with a blown fuse
Also-shoutout to Curtis who separated the circuits in the wiring schematics, it makes it so much easier to deal with!
