Carburetor Float Bowl Broken Piece

Post by legit_chicken »

The little piece on the bottom of my r16 carburetor float bowl top that holds the pin for the fuel valve hinge broke off. See attached. What can I do to fix it or where can I buy a new piece? I have a 67.5 1600 and I live in Gilbert, Arizona. Thanks.

If you can't find a replacement, you can try to JB Weld it, it should hold up.

That's a bummer, but at least you have found the cause of a problem. JB weld would probably hold, but parts donor used carbs are very readily available, very reasonably
