If you can get it to fire up with starting fluid then you can comfirm the issue is fuel related. If you have a glass bowl filter confirm that the cork gasket at the top of the bowl is intact and properly seated. The fuel filter bowl is on the suction side of the fuel pump. A bad seal will cause you to pull air, not fuel.

Try wetting the cork gasket with oil and see if it helps to make a better seal. I know Dean sells replacements. You can also cut your own with a sharp blade, a roll of cork and some patience.

It will take a while of cranking to fill the system with fuel after you remove the bowl.

did you switch out your gas cap ? is it vented ? also look down the hole in your trunk into the gas tank. look for build up or crud at the bottom . I'm guessing the fuel pump's out or a clogged fuel line if the above things have been gone through and no resolution still . my fuel filter will not fill when its clogged or allot of air is getting in . this will stop the fuel delivery.. make sure your cap is vented also . another stopper of fuel delivery. good luck . hope it runs soon

I think I was going down the wrong path with the fuel. It appears to be a spark issue. I think the problem is with the electronic ignition which is less than a year old.

No kidding! It’s part of the learning process. It should know to only break in the winter time when the driving weather isn’t so nice! Anyway Tom from East Coast Roadsters has reached out to me and helping me with the ignition issue. Top notch company if choosing an electronic ignition.

I chased a “spark” problem a few years ago. It turned out to be a faulty wire at the ignition switch.

Let us know what you determine the root cause to be.
