What do the size measurements stand for on an electronic coil??

Post by roggerjagger » Wed Mar 27, 2019 1:26 pm

For example, from the store a Pertronix Coil 40501 has 17.8 x 10.2 x 10.2 cm
or a 40511 has 20.8 x 9.1 x 6.6 cm or a 40611 has 17 x 9.1 x 6.6 cm.
What do the 3 numbers represent?

How do you get L, W, H from a cylinder type electronic coil?

The box it will fit into.
It has a bracket, that's why the height and width are not equal.
