Help me identify this part!

Post by Rodosuta »

Found this in a box of parts in the trunk of a 65, 1600.
I have no idea what this is!

Well, in a sense driving a car from 1965 is a sort of "Time Machine" :-)

Oh wow. I got a spare 2000 engine with my 1600.
Does that part belong in the 2000?

I think all 6i and later roadsters had em.
Most have been removed. Probably kept "in case".

Right, the 65 would never have had that, must have come with the 2L.

I recognize the double hose bracket on the right of second pic to belong to a 70 U20. Both my 70's had it but my 69 did not - that doesn't mean it wasnt removed some time in the last 50 years
