Rear Suspension

Post by Gornal »

Hi,

My ride is really bumpy at the rear and feels like there is no suspension at the rear. I recently changed the shocks and bushings and the guy who changed them said the leaf springs were fine. Can anyone advise what else I can do to improve the ride (it is terrible at the moment)? Any advice on whether new leaf springs would help.

thanks

Have you ridden in other roadsters so you know how your car compares to others?
When you say it rides badly, what is your basis for comparison?
Lots of things, wheels, tires, tire pressure, as well as shocks and springs can affect ride.
Those who have them swear JT68's shocks are the best available so since your springs are supposed to be good, you might check them out.

We would really a lot more info in order to try to help. Images would help too.
Have you been in any other Roadster as a comparison as asked?
What do you have for shocks?
Does it bounce or is it super stiff?
Tire size?
