66 heater control valve seal kit

Post by SABLT194 »

I thought some of the vendors carried a seal kit to rebuild an early heater control valve. I couldn't find anything?? Maybe Alzheimer's is setting in.

common O-rings from the hardware store. A little O-ring grease helps.

I realize this is an old thread, but I am also looking for the o-rings for the heater valve on my 67.5. I tried local hardware stores as well as FLAPS & McMaster Carr. Nothing close. Has anyone been able to locate them?

They appear to be rectangular cross-section & metric.

Be safe.

Peace,
Pat

I have bought here https://www.theoringstore.com/ and found them to be a great source.
