1969 Datsun 1600 spl311

Hello again..
I need some guidence on diagnosing why I have no headlights or tail lights brake lights and blinkers work fine. I appreciate and input.

Could be any number of things.

Do you have a volt meter to check through the circuit?

Start with the 20A fuse and fuse clips. Then grounds and connectors for headlights and tailights. Then light switch and stalk switch for high beams

As stated above, start with the fuse, follow the power.
A 12v test light may be easier for some tests.

+1 on fuse
also bad ground for the headlight switch.

The headlight system for a 69-70 is switched through grounding, i.e. always Hot.

Power goes directly from the fuse box to the head lights. The switch grounds the system.

Thanks for the input but it seems that there was a loose connection to thelight switch...headlights and tail lights are working normally
