Does anyone know where you can buy the small return springs on the bottom of the su-carbs? and what size they are?

I just bought some correctish springs from Ace hardware and cut them down as needed. My original ones were worn out. No issues in the year or so they've been on.

Incorrect springs will prematurely wear out SU throttlevshafts. 1600 and 2000 are different as well. Suggest you get the correct springs from somewhere.
