Empi Wood Steering Wheel Adapter

Would like to find out what adapter might work for the replica Empi 3 hole steering? Looked online but I am unsure. Is the VW spline the same?

I have the Grant steering wheel, I used the Empi adapter
And I think its really meant for VW , a spline or two off but no problems
It was the only adapter that could be used ... I think

Vw splines NOT the same. Also Vw has a snap ring that regulates wheel/hub depth. Datsun has a tapered split sleeve. You could cut and weld a vw shaft spline........

Yeah but it tears up the alloy adapter not the shaft . I THINK I litely filed it for depth.
It works anyway ,Ive never pulled it off. (this was 1992)
I think the adapter it took was extinct , the steering wheel I bought was $110 , but discounted to $80 , the parts guy sold it to me for like $67 , because of the adapter
