Yes, however the tach cable connection and the oil line connection are subject to leaking. Mike

I think if you are going to chase oil leaks, you may need to do a quick engine degrease (at least that area so you can verify what's leaking). The Dizzy (tower) has a gasket where it connects to the block. The Dizzy has a large o-ring that fits into the tower and seals the shaft of the Dizzy as it installs and engages the drive gear. Our vendors sell the tach seal kits, but I guess you could try to match O-rings from your kit.

Is there an O-ring for the tach too or is that just a fitting that's known to leak?

There are 2 o-rings or, a seal and an o-ring (depending on year of your distributor pedestal-early or late model) inside the tach cable drive unit, located on the distributor pedestal.

Does anyone know if the early and late style tach cable drive assembly mentioned in this WIKI interchange? I have a pile of both styles here and the car is 250 miles away. http://www.311s.org/pmwiki-311/pmwiki.p ... hCableSeal
Thanks

The tach cables from 1600s and 2000s should all swap up and down. The 1500s have different fittings at the gauge end.
