SPL 5-mph rear bumper or Continental Kit mount?

Post by jhayden »

No price in the listing, so this has to be posted as a "curiosity" in the tech listings:

If anyone is nearby, that may be a factory hardtop...

I am about 90 minutes away and I'm definitely intrigued by this car just to look at it. The interior looks like it was 'modernized' too and looks like a 70's Ford Pinto inside...

I think it could be the "Alvin Style" hard-top too Sid but I would love to be wrong. My '64 (now Dan's) came with one of those with 3 clamps/knobs.

Cheers

You forgot to mention the homemade luggage rack , top runners turned

I had a 68 Volvo 123 gt
That was transforming into a Datsun
( parts going onto it were Datsun )
5 mph bumper (you think ?) He must really not wanted it to get damaged

Note my 80 510 had a 5 mph bumper, I loved it .A guy trying to wreck me @60 mph hit me in the rear and might have done it, but the 5 mph shot me head 20 ft .

also doing the drive up at Mc Ds one nite coasting around @5 MPH I hit the clutch pedal instead of the middle one , the guy was handing the money over I hit his bumper, also 5 mph, and knocked him 20 ft up , the cute girl cashier is LHAO ,the guy gets out ...its a cop ..but no damage found , I bought his meal

It used to be said about convertibles that, "If the top goes down, the price goes up." Perhaps that should be updated to read,"If the tarp goes off, the price goes up."

Aaaaaand - we have a Datsun flipper in Texas! Wow that was fast. I wonder how much the PO got it for? He probably won't be too happy to find out that grandpappy's Datsun is back up for sale already. :-(

I am loving that valve cover paint-job, that has to add at least $500 to the value.

If it was in Houston I'd say that it was Casey that is flipping it. Maybe he moved to San Antone...

Good catch Jon.
