Testing Voltage Regulator for fuel and temp guage?
Can someone tell me which side of the voltage regulator takes the 12 volt positive lead and which side you would attach your volt metre to? (One side has a terminal all by itself, the other side has a green strip attached to it). Saw the 8 volt fix, bought all of the parts, but want to test the original to see if it still works. Should I replace it regardless?

12v goes to the terminal with the green strip. Terminal is labelled IGN.
