My mistake in description, I meant to discuss the tierod ITSELF, the nuts at each end where it connects to the tierod ends. Want to adjust the toein

Do you mean the center link rod? I believe one thread is left hand and one is right hand at the other end.

Exactly. BUT which way do the nuts unscrew/loosen?
Left counterclockwise?
Right clockwise?
Or v.v?

Aaaah Geoff, if you'd only taken a few more electrical courses.... Larger ignition wires are better not because they conduct more current, but because they have less impedance which results in maximum energy transfer to the spark plug gap.

BTW I hope to see you in a roadster this fall!

I cleaned the threads off and looked to see which end was left hand and right hand.

Edit: I just laid down in front of my car and looked. With the grease nipples forward as they should be the left hand thread is on the left hand driver's side. So the normal right hand thread on the right side on my car.

Okay, I have the new Z Therapy carbs back on the car after the mess with the cracked exhaust manifold. The car actually idles now and doesn't blow exhaust fumes in my face. I put 15w oil in the pistons. Went for a run up the street and it only revs up part way and starts to go flat on rpm so no top end. I'm guessing I need to turn the knobs and richen it up? I suppose I should rev it up and check that the pistons are going up.

Carbs are not my thing so advice is appreciated. Watched the Z Therapy DVD and it has some advice there.

Hey Curtis, the set-up tutorial by Keith in the techwiki is the best step-by-step guide to help you dial in those carbs!

Well, duh. Forgot to look there. I turned them all the way in just now and then 2.5 out. Went for a drive and it was still a bit flat. Stopped and went to three turns and that helped. But then went I got in the driveway and shut it off I got a big pop.

For the little spring clips/washers that attempt to hold the front turn signals in place, are they available anywhere? Or is there any sort of upgrade?
The one that is on my driver's side front signal seems unable to maintain its grip. The rattle that the turn signal then begins to make is great enough that it makes its presence known, which is saying something considering the competing cacophony that it must overcome for me to hear it. :-)

A lot people use vacuum hose clipped in 1/8” sections. Works great.

You should able to find these at any autoparts store. You could probably just put a nut on the inside as well.

Dreading the answer to this question, since I don't want to pull Eliza's engine YET AGAIN!

Seems like I have coolant leaking from the backing plate between the transmission and engine.

And idea what might have happened and where?

I think she overheated (temp gauge currently not working) because the bolt that hold the fuel line to the thermostat tower came out, and I lost quite a bit of coolant!!

Thorts??
