Hi Bob,
So very nice of you. If you can spare one I would appreciate it. I did not know VC had this type. Will PM info.
Thx☺

Thinking I can get some tubing from Home Depot and make the sleeve.
Seems Vintage Connections would be the only place for a replacement, unless I could use something else?

I have the original style. The VC insulator is not the same. I won't be home from Japan until the 18th though.

could you post a clearer picture of the 'offending' connector?

That's the connector with tinning on it. Overpriced.

totally available on VC site, though I don't remember these exact connectors being original in that location, they are mostly one to one, at least on '70

The 70 also has double connectors but they are different. The 68 and earlier connector is actually a triple connector but only used for two bullets.

Anyone have the measurements for the 69' side marker lights? Looks like it lines up with the top of the 2000 emblem, but I can't find a good side picture. If anyone can confirm and has the distance from the headlight trim I should be able to get it. Figured it doesn't hurt to ask, as long as I get it close and both sides match

3 1/4 from front
13 7/8 from bottom of fender

Am I to assume that you cannot see where the holes were filled up on the underside.

And YOUR alignment doesn't seem to match the JDM picture in any case!

Thanks, yeah I was just eye balling it got it closer mounting the fender and matching it up. Are those measurements to the middle of the hole? Or to the lens screw holder?
I'm adding them to my 68' because I like the look. Thanks again!

3 1/4 from edge of naked scoop to edge of left hand opening
similarly from bottom of fender to bottom of cutout.

I’m having the foam replaced that goes along the top of the windshield. I noticed that there’s a bend in the top edge of the window frame. I assume this is not supposed to be there?

Can someone let me know if I need to bend this back before my upholstery guy finishes the job?

Thanks in advance!

I had the same thing on my 69, was advised that is was from forcing the center top clamp when it wasn't properly positioned. Made sense to me, I straightened it before painting.
