I believe he said the carb parts fixed it, wasn't the ignition.

whew knew too rich or too lean caused an misfire also . check.your fuel mix too ...

Dumb question - Have you swapped the fuel filter? I recently had a similar issue at highway speeds. Swapped the fuel filter and it went away. Turns out I've got 52 years worth of sediment to clean from the tank whenever I can get around to dropping it.
