On a high windshield car, you move the stalk down to make a right hand turn. If you do no rewiring, and just reclock the switch on the column, the movement of the stalk stays the same. I see no reason to rewire anything. Am I missing something?
Of course you are correct again as a guru you should be too, you have enough cars to practice on ... Lol
All this is in good fun remember please ...

No I figure Sid is usually right. The wow was because I just assumed something and it turned out to be totally wrong, of course you know what happens when you assume.

I was thinking it reversed the direction by flipping it 180. Actually I didn't really think about it, just seemed so at the moment.

Lets not talk about cutting several wires and piecing them back together. You can make a little extender harness. Splices are just a future problem that someone will say the previous owner did this.
66 stroker, almost done.

I guess there will be some things for the NO (New Owner) to whine about when I sell my car.
I will have the splices for extra fuses etc. documented though. Depends on when it gets sold too

Curtis,

At the time I was also thinking of making a mini extender harness to insert between the original connections, but thought it would be impossible to find some original connectors to make the harness. In case I ever need to do this in the future, do you know where these original connectors can be found?

There can be only one: Vintage Connections. http://vintageconnections.com/

Good grief guys! Why go through all that trouble. Just stick your hand straight out the window for a left, and point at the sky for a right :D works on any LHD car. Or you could install trafficators :D :D

The 911 never got this messed up. But what fun is that?
