Frame Pads--again

Post by cole455 »

Guys, I've searched and read numerous ideas regarding replacing the old horeshair pads. I'm curious what everyone els has used?

I've used old interior horsehair soaked in oil on cars but have yet to experiment with much else. I see the camp pad in the tech section and have heard of conveyor belt material as well as rubber pads sold at grainger.

Any people that have used the above materials care to share how it's held up over the years. Would you do it differently?

I'm going to try to install the body on mine this week and only plan on doing it once.

Thanks!
