Aluminum 3 Row Radiator

Post by sivlersnake »

Hello all, can someone tell me if this radiator will "drop in" to my 1968 1600?

I am thinking about getting it to hopefully resolve my over heating issue.

Thanks for the help.

This one looks like a better deal. You never know what you are buying when it comes from eBay

Would this be a drop in replacement? no modding at all, correct?

Jury is out for "drop in". On a 68 with the original steering box, it should fit without any major effort. Later cars have had some issues. There are a few posts on this http://311s.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f= ... 2&p=190745

Unless someone changed it, it's early style. Early style up to 69 1/2 has U joint caps the size of a nickle, late style, they are smaller than a dime. Early style has no clearance issues
