As you can imagine I was a bit embarrassed as I had not built it. For the last few years of my life I didn't even think about model car building. I proceeded to locate the model with the intention of sending the kit back to its owner...basically throwing in the towel.I opened the kit and it hit me...I really did love building these things. I mean, the 50+ cars on display in my living room remind me daily! I figured that my front yard landscaping was my Covid project, so why not take a break from that and knock this model out?

This is a 1/43 scale resin model kit by Provence Moulage. Synonymous with quality and neat details, this is a really simple kit but super tiny to me as I am a fan of 1/24 scale kits.
The windshield frame had broken off in transit (easy fix). Take a look at the neat parts included like photo-etched trim and metal wheels/bumpers. Even has the license plate trim (you thought the real thing was flimsy

The owner wants this model to look like the Monte Carlo version using the supplied decals. Wish me luck
