Carpet set for patterns...68-up

Post by auggiemize »

If anyone has a original (preferably) set of carpet pieces that are not long for the dumpster, or just laying around, I would love to have them to make patterns for a new set I will have made. My car (late 68/69 registration) has no carpet currently, and want a color/nap that is not available for our cars in the repro marketplace. I had one response already in the "want to buy" section, of another roadster guy in search of same, and I'll share paper patterns with him and anyone else. OR, if someone already has patterns, that'd be great as well. Happy to pay shipping. Much thanks,
Newby Dave V. in NC

(I know the cut-out area around shifter differs from 4-5 speed, but the basic rug pattern is the same, I think...Mine's a 4 speed currently, not that it matters...)

I believe the carpet for the tunnel comes the same for all cars, it's up to the owner to cutout for the shifter as needed. Same as I believe all the bodies 67.5+ were the same with prestamped cutouts to complete according to the type.
