Finally put 2,000 miles on my rusted out roadster

Post by SEC »

After months of working with my grandfather we finally got our 69’ 2000 on the road. I’ve driven it to virginia beach and back (~120 miles) without issue. It’s running stronger everyday and i’m extremely pleased with it. Took it to cars and coffee richmond hoping to see another roadster (or a dodge charger) but sadly didn’t see any. My roadster did however became the banner for one of their face book groups. Lord I love this car and plan to begin restoration upon purchase of a welder

Very cool! I am sure it drew a lot of looks and discussion.

That car may exceed the limits of patina, but the green, yellow, and rust nicely complement each other. Kind of a captivating look though.
Glad to see that you are driving it before you start on the cosmetics.

Old enough to know better, too old to remember why!

In healthcare terms, that is a car with a “will to live“ !

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.
