Reinstallation: door window or vent window in first?

Post by Linda »

Having trouble getting the door window in, then I realized I should try to find out which goes in first. Or any other tips for reassembly. The rear track for the window was fine on the driver side, getting the other side’s track welded.
And got the pesky posties installed.
thx

Per TechWiki, window first, then vent window on late cars. Just some adjusting to get it to fit right.

Did you check the condition of the rubber bumper window stop at the bottom of the door while you were there?
Thats not a R16 death rattle....its a dried leaf hitting my heater blower fan.

Hmm, well, no, I didn’t even know it was there  I will check right side since I got the vertical piece back from the welder (Alleman Welding), nice job, and haven’t installed anything yet.
The left side is buttoned up after the postie install. So, will have to wait on that.
I kind of would like to drive a little bit on the 4th , since there is nothing to do :? We’ll see...
