Need wheels to fit 69 2000

Post by Zroadster »

I have a 1969 2000 roadster that needs new wheels and tires. Can anyone help with the correct sizes. Tire shops don't know. Thanks

Well, you can start here:

Might also tell us what wheels and tires you currently have, and why you want to replace them.

Depending on whether you have custom or the OEM wheels or have a lowered suspension will dictate what tire size works the best. Typically, you should be able to run up to 195/60/R14's.

I have a '69 SRL311 and currently have rusty 185/14's. I was hoping to run 15's because I like the look. I also need a complete brake systems upgrade and am looking at the 300zx four piston system. I am new to the retro world. Any words of wisdom on what wheels and tires and brakes choices for this newbie?
