Well they do keep you warm in the winter. I can handle a 2nd degree burn, it’s just taking one for the team. It’s when you give your vinyl, carpet, wires, or paint a burn that really gets you hot under the collar.
P.S. I too have one on a ceiling mounted reel, just need to wise up and put a led in it!

I'll have you know there is an led bulb in there. The florescent bulb didn't last long nor the rough use.

I burned the seat of a snowmobile with one of those many years ago. The main problem I had with them is that no matter what sort of hook you have on it and how you hang it the light always ends up shining in your eyes instead of on your work. Maybe ten years ago, on the advice of a pro mechanic on another forum, I converted over to headlamps. I keep three of them in a drawer in my tool chest. I found that three is the number needed to insure that the first one turns up again before the last one gets misplaced.

Headlamp. I have one somewhere. Time to buy two more. Yes the hook thing and shining in your eyes is a pita at least 50 percent of the time. I've been meaning to buy a rechargeable type light too.

Now if the weather would be dry on Sunday I could throw the frame and parts outside for some clean up but of course it will be raining. Dry today but I have plans all day.

Sunday morning FedEx delivery, more goodies. I have to admit the new mirror is really nice.
Good news is my lower A arm spindles have good threads. One upper is still good but I have 4 new ones.

Just got back from getting the axle collars pressed on. Picked up the rest of my powder coated parts yesterday.

How's this for a color and texture match? Original and new.

Thanks, as usual I got carried away and a bit disgusted by the rust. While you're at it...

I found someone local to do the paint on this car. Semi retired guy that does custom cars. I had talked with him more than a year ago, probably close to two. He sent me these.

I hope that you marked the rust holes with a bright colored felt tip. You could pay them for a lot of hours trying to find them.
