Buyer beware on Datsun Part 2 book on Amazon

As many know the Datsun Roadster Book Part 2 is the most beneficial book out of the 3 parts for help with all technical stuff (as it’s called Technical and Service Manual). So of course I purchased a hard copy on 02/02/2019 on Amazon.

The front cover says Part 2 so I never questioned the book this whole year... I literally just found out the outside says volume 2 but the entire inside is volume 1. So... ya... don’t buy the book on Amazon until this is fixed.

Yeah very weird. And if you look at the reviews it seems others also had the same experience. I’m not saying this was intentional - it was probably just an error with binding or printing. But now I still need to find a part 2. Is there one I can download somewhere and print on my own? Or can I buy from a different source?

Not available for download any where else. I would contact Amazon again and ask them to make it right. Obviously a major printing error. Short of that, the only other option would be to purchase another set. Ouch. I would go after Amazon to get this corrected.

Ok I'll check with Amazon and update. I feel a little foolish just now noticing this error. Hopefully Amazon could compensate in some way but I wouldn't blame them if they chose not to bc of how long time has passed.

Update:
I called Amazon and to my surprise they offered a full refund or replacement. I opted in for the replacement and for them to note the issue so hopefully the seller fixes this error. If it comes back incorrect again then I will re-contact and ask for a refund. I should be receiving the book this Thursday.

Side note:
Anyone out there able to make a copy of their volume 2 and could send to me? Obviously I would compensate for the expenses.

Another thought is you might want to contact the author Scott Sheeler and at least make him aware there is a problem. He might have more clout with the publisher. As far as someone making a copy of book 2 that would be tough as you would have to literally tear the book binding apart to make a good copy.

Eek ya that's way too much work and I don't want anyone to damage their book either. Ok ill look for Scott Sheeler's info and reach out to him. Thanks!

FINAL UPDATE:

Here is the response I just received from Scott:
"We were notified by another customer of this issue and uploaded the correct file on 2-15-19 - right after your purchase. Sorry for any inconvenience we caused. We try to provide a quality product and fell short in this case, at least initially."
