We are also very excited to be a small part of this project with our parts being used for the engine conversion! Well done guys-- can't wait to see the finished product!

Very cool build! Excited to see the final one!
Love the dual center exhaust. Would make my Roadster look a bit more like my Cayman if you ever offered that as a part!

Pretty tough to run a center exhaust with the gas tank right in the way. I do however seem to remember some talk here about running a crossover pipe just behind the tank for a dual exhaust with exits on either side of the gas tank. I don't recall that ever coming to frutation. I think JT68 was going to experiment with the concept.

Re: Our 1967 Datsun Roadster SEMA Project
Yes, we built some prototypes, but no one ever asked for any, so we dropped it. These really don't even need a rear resonator can which makes them less expensive to build than our standard rear resonators (either cone or twin pipe)theunz wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 7:37 pm Pretty tough to run a center exhaust with the gas tank right in the way. Since these are die formed bends in 2", there is almost no restriction-highly efficient, not loud. I did not really want a "Cayman"look. Lately, we have built some bigbore systems and twin tips for SRdet cars. I'm sure those will surface on some build photos too!
These are 2" NA systems.
