1966 SPL311 any insight on the radiator would be appreciated.

Re: Worley Aluminum Radiator eBay
Nice looking radiator, can't speak for quality but some people here swear by Champion Radiators. I need one for my car as well. So if you get it, let us know what you think when you get it. Thanks.

Re: Worley Aluminum Radiator eBay
I can't speak for their quality, but if the information as to fit is any indication, I would stick to the Champion Radiators.
Worley Radiator aka GPI Racing fitment information is not correct.
Disclaimer: I own a Champion Radiator.

Re: Worley Aluminum Radiator eBay
To date, no one has been able to make a single radiator that meets all those years, and model numbers, therefore their fitment claims are suspect.
"When all else fails, force prevails!" Ummm, we're gonna need a bigger hammer here.

Re: Worley Aluminum Radiator eBay
I had my original radiator recored with an xl core that utilizes more tubes of a slightly smaller opening than original,in a 3 row configuration.Price in 2014 was about 300 dollars.Copper and brass is very efficient and might be much easier to repair some minor road damage compared to a aluminum unit. And,it looks original

Re: Worley Aluminum Radiator eBay
I took a bunch of video when installing my aluminum radiator, I decided to use a later aluminum radiator with the built in cap and replace my existing "thermostat housing" with a 3 bolt 1500 housing in my 66. The fit and finish of the radiator itself is fantastic, but it's got a few weird things.
1. The threads for the stock fan shroud weren't the same as the bolts that were in my radiator, though the radiator I had was some sort of pretty old 3 row re-core, so I'm not certain what the stock threads should be.
2. There is no provision to bolt on the air-dam on the bottom of the radiator. I've just left it mounted using the other two philips head screws, but may remove it entirely. From looking at ebay aluminum radiators for the early cars, it looks like they don't have this mounting provision either.
3. The electric fan it comes with doesn't perfectly fit, I had to flip two of the mounting tabs around and to make it fit, would recommend just buying a separate fan kit if you're looking to do that.
Might edit those clips together and post a video in the future, but these are my notes for now!
For reference this is the kit I bought https://www.ebay.com/itm/1966-1970-Dats ... %7Ciid%3A1
