Roadster sighting Tulsa

This morning I saw something in Tulsa rarer than a UFO a Datsun Roadster!! I was pulling out of a convenience store when a red 1600 pulled in. So I reparked and went to speak to him. He was an older gentleman name Rudy who said he has owned it for about 30 years. Car was all original except for a repaint about 20 years ago. No rust, and chrome and interior looked pretty good for its age. Unfortunately I was on my way to meet a Hospice nurse at my mothers house and didn’t have much time, so we exchanged phone numbers and I told him about this web site and it’s vendors. He had no idea that parts were available and was happy to learn so. I was in such a hurry I didn’t think to snap a pic, but when things slow down with mom I’ll give him a visit. Made a rough day a little easier.
