Also the perforated wrap does not come in the +/- sizing so you have to cut it to fit.

I used Scotch Super 33+ Professional Grade on the innertube - I use it on the electrical stuff too. I don't think it will matter though once the cover is laced up. I used a 20" tube, so it has a good curve & cut it so it wasn't stretched.

Installed mine today and was very happy with the result. I will add though, I think the width is just slightly to wide for the late model wheel. So, while I was contemplating where to to get an inner tube and just what size, it dawned on me that I had just removed the perfect thickener: My old perforated lace up cover. I cut the molded in laces off and used a generous amount of electrical tape to secure it to the wheel. This made the new cover fit like a glove. You will however have a small budge about an inch wide where the laces were molded into the old cover. I centered it at the top, but might look better at the bottom.

Yea, I suppose I should have mentioned, with the baseball stitch, i pulled it pretty tight and the cover overlaps inside the wheel by about 2mm which takes up some of that slack you all are seeing.

I am not at my car - travelling with work. Has anyone measured the steering wheel? Overall diameter and grip diameter. Thanks!

Sid, I measured 15 5/8" wheel diameter and 2 5/8" grip circumference when ordering my Wheelskin a few years ago:

I like it but don't like how the spokes stick through. I talked to a few upholstery places about doing a custom wrap and they either didn't work on wheels or wanted a crazy amount ($375)...
