I haven't been inside of an L motor but I did rebuild a J13, I assume that's what these keepers on the right fit.
Valve retainers?

Now that you mention that, the keepers in this collection wouldn't hold the U20 valves.

The retainers on the right appear to be early 1600 or H20 retainers if they are .341 stems. They can be used for R or H engines.
