Tonneau Cover Fit Question

Post by Rodosuta »

Does a tonneau cover for a 1965 fit a 1969 roadster?
My question is specific to the attachment points.
I understand that the headrests would have to be removed from the 69 as the cover is flat with no pockets sewn in.

Technically it should but the position of the attachment points on either car could have been moved in the last 50 years. It will also have the cut out for the dash mounted mirror.
I remember when no one wanted the 1500s......

I would expect the front attach points to differ, and likely the length as well because of the different dashboards.

The dash twisties and the front posties are in different locations.

Iirc, the 68 - 70 are slightly longer tonneau covers

I'm actually looking for a '65 tonneau cover. Do you have any information on this one?
