no start but started all day .

ok let me say what's up and what I've done so far . please
today I cleaned carbs for trip . car was starting fine and all day .then I go to warm it up to go and , it cranks only ..
1) so I hook up this spark plug thing on each sparkplug one at a time = spark on each and strong .
2) changed condenser
3) checked if everything hit on #1 sparkplug compression stroke = yes firing on correct plug ..( pulled distributor lately )
4) checked fuel delivery = good yes and pumping .
5) checked coil wires and those around , cleaned contacts checked and put back ..
so there's spark fuel and I hear compression when hand turning motor .. why no start . why did I miss ?? I'm so late now it'll probably be tomorrow before I get out . if .. heeeelp pls .

before it stopped working and I was cleaning and tuning carbs I adjusted the needles a bit , tuned idle and shut off . just to say everything I touched ..

oh and switch rotor during all this no start .. just because , but still have spark on each pulg so it's not necessary to switch . just did something because I ran out of ideas ..

got it .. sprayed break cleaner in carbs , fired up . sputtered then kicked on good .. odd . but it's ok now ... by got to go south now ..

Great troubleshooting, that is an odd one. Usually when it won't start warm it's vapor lock or coil going bad. Was it just flooded? stock fuel pump or electric? SU's don't like a lot of fuel pressure

I know it .. I couldn't have vapor lick on it cold .. later after I did all that it didn't start . all stock motor complete with smog distributor .. haha I like it hard I guess . anyway idk . it had to be fuel somehow . cuz it almost died after start , then kinda kicked in .. so I guess I wasn't supposed to be moving down that way yet .. haha tthe "force" said no ..

fuel/spark/ compression . I tried to do it without coming here to ask for help and the minute I do ,I figure it out ... I've been on here enough troubleshooting everything 5 * I just sat back and heard what you guys would tell me..
that worked pretty good till no of that worked ... so then I started over and thought it's got to be spark or gas and their Spark so it's got to be gas.. brake cleaner works in a pinch like starter fluid ..
