Console paint Color

Hi all
Just starting on a few winter projects on my 68,2000, solex. Pulled the Center console out. Easy, and in very good shape, the metal that is. The vinyl is a bit warm as a 50 yr old should be. I’m sanding down the metal, very little rust, mostly minor stuff along edges, no dings or denting so I’m very lucky. Original paint except the sliding door was painted at one time. What brand and color silver should I use to repaint? I want it to be as close to original semi dull silver . Not glossy!!! I have maplight,cig lighter and a working latch/lock. I do have to wire them up though. So paint brand would help ... thanks
Also the vinyl kit from Dean, just for the console? Has any one used it and how easy is it to install over original. Or take to upholster joint and get them to redo mine ? Happy roadstering

You can always take that piece into an Auto paint store and they can give you a match in a spray can

All pics I see have the plate on top, I think it looks cleaner underneath. Here is mine that I just finished. I’m very happy with it
