I wouldn't wish that experience on my worst enemy. It gives you a whole new perspective on everything. I'm glad your daughter is doing well.
Ahhhh, you've already seen my old beater in the calendar! I took the girls out a few months ago and put them both in the roadster, but I didn't like any of the pictures now that Alice is a bit older I think it may be time for another attempt
And to all the folks out there with beaters and rust buckets and fixer uppers. You will ALWAYS have a place in my/our calendar! lol! A lot of us found this site because we ended up with a roadster (one way or another!) and we realized pretty quickly that we needed some help figuring it all out. This site and the community is a valuable resource to all of us. The guys out there buying the junkers and keeping them on the road are an important part of the whole roadster equation IMHO. My roadster is not the nicest by any means and it may be another 20 years before it wins any actual awards, but I drove it today and I find some solace knowing that it lives in a garage and is not deteriorating in some strangers yard! Without those of us in the trenches keeping these old girls on the road, this community would be a lot smaller! I'm getting off topic here. My point is that all roadsters are welcome in this calendar! Send in those photos!!!!!!
The 2019 calendar is done and ready to print! I ran off a couple today, but I wasn't totally happy with the image quality so I called in for service on my Xerox. My repair man should be in tomorrow to give the machine a good cleaning... I hope to crank out the first batch of the 2019 calendars tomorrow afternoon! I should be ready to take orders and ship them by Friday. It's a another great calendar. I think we have mostly new roadsters and I think it turned out really nice.
For those new to this, I don't like taking money till I have something to ship, I'll make a post soon with info on how to order them once they are actually printed and ready to ship...
Thanks and goodnight!
