I think you should call for pics earlier, like August, since many owners seldom check in. Or put up a link so that they can send pics all year long.
If you stop the paper calendar you can always do a digital one.

Sadly-Linda has passed away 2022. She was the 311's den mother and drove the first Rare-Parts ball joint project. RIP.

I've been off the board for a while playing with a new car. Completely forgot about the calendar until just now. I'll submit next year, but can't wait to see the final product. Look forward to ordering mine.

Comrades! Here is my pre-calender report.

First of all, thanks Ted for gathering the photos! It certainly wouldn't have happened this year without your help. This year got off to an intense start. Our second daughter Alice was born on January 21st and came out healthy and we were all doing well for about 2 days. At 3 days old she started having seizures and we ended up down in the UC Davis NICU. She had a blood clot and stroke and that caused the seizures. It was a very rough first few weeks for her, but we survived. The good news is, she hasn't had any seizures since that first day/night and she's off all medications now and is doing very well! There were (and still are) some concerns about her being weaker on her left side due to the stroke, but she is really doing well and we optimistic that she will continue to do well as she grows up. She just started walking at about 10.5 months! :D Anyways, our lives are just now starting to get into some kind of normal rhythm and I'm excited to do the calendar for another year! I love having my calendar at the shop... I get people every week that notice that car(s) and want to tell me stories about them...

kids.jpg

I have a ritual where I like to take my car out for a drive and get my mind in the right place before I make my final decisions! I took her out for a ride last week between storms and almost made it home before the rains caught me. :smt005 I should have my final decisions made today and hopefully Jon and I will have some calendars ready to ship later this week!

I hope everyone is doing well out there.

Jared

Jared,

Glad to hear the latest addition to your family is doing well after the initial scare. Our daughter had issues right after she was born. It was a scary time when she was in ICU as a new born. She grew up to be a young woman me and the wife are quite proud of. We wish you the same outcome.

As to the calendars-your efforts are always appreciated. Looking forward to getting a couple for next year. Thanks to Ted for helping you as well.

Hey Jared,
How about a pic of your daughter in the car for the calendar?

It's wonderful to hear how well your daughter is doing, the calendar is certainly small potatoes in comparison! Still, very happy that you can produce the calendar without other things weighing on your mind, we appreciate it and share your enthusiasm!

BUMMER!!
As mentioned by other members who missed the thread and/or announcement I too missed it.... :( . Maybe there is another way to get more members alerted to the submission guidelines and restrictions. Odds are that the more ways members are notified the bigger the number of submissions. Not sure how but for those of us who are a little busy but still like to be involved it would be great to have a number of ways to be alerted. I will try to keep a better eye out next year
