while the engine is out

Post by jarhead »

I'm getting my engine/transmission ready for re-install after some transmission and clutch work on my 66.

Anyone have suggestions on addressing other issues that can be done to the engine bay? I thought I read somewhere along the way about removing the triangle of metal to get better access to the starter? Anything else I should consider?

General cleanup of course.
Steering gear is easier to get to if you need a rebuild.

What does your bay look like? I became self conscious after seeing all these excellent rebuild threads.
Fell victim to "as long as I am here"!

Where I started, ran great but...........
